Description
The Remington 700 Special is an upgraded version of the Primary model which further enhances accuracy and precision on any Remington 700 model rifle.
- Pull weight range of 1.0 - 3.5 lbs
- CLKR Technology
- Available with curved, flat or pro curved trigger lever
Just like the Primary model, this drop-in trigger provides a true zero-creep break, extremely short overtravel and offers outstanding reliability. Zero Creep Technology™, along with hardened 440C stainless steel internal components ensure corrosion resistance and an extended service life. As Zero Creep Technology™ does not rely on coating, polishing or lubricating the key engagement surfaces, trigger pulls will be more consistent from shot to shot and after thousands of shots more than you ever thought possible.

When I received my Remington M700 “ Special Trigger”…I was delighted…but several days went by waiting for a Tech to answer the phone…or answering my email.
After talking to a Technician…I discovered I needed to cut down my trigger shoe…as it was not meant as a drop-in replacement for my rifle…for my magazine assembly…could not be tightened?
Once back in place…the release lever to remove my bolt…would bind up?
I shot my rifle yesterday…but had to disassemble it to pull the bolt…so I am still working the issue.
A replacement trigger should not be this difficult?
This is a great trigger that comes packed with unparalleled customer support and service. My trigger had a strange issue where it would hang up (catch/require force to move) intermittently when moving from Safe to Fire but never from Fire to Safe. It did this before I ever fired a round. Anyway, I did use it at the range and it was the sweetest trigger I've ever used, aside from the safety lever (let me be clear, the safety never failed and the trigger always passed every function test). I called tech support and they were absolutely fabulous. Walked me through myriad of things they wanted me to try in order to troubleshoot the cause. In the end they decided to exchange the trigger. The trigger was installed in a Zermatt Ti3 LA barreled to a Proof CF 24" chambered in 300 PRC, Manners LRH stock with M5 mini chassis.
Since Jewel trigger company has closed. Trigger Tech is my go to Trigger. Never having to readjust the Trigger weight of pull.
Your triggers are the best!! Thank you!
