I have a Trigger Tech Adaptable AR Primary Trigger on my long range varmint rig. I was thinking about putting the same trigger on my long range 'heavy bullet' rifle, then I realized I have the Adaptable set to the same weight as the AR-15 Duty Trigger (3.5 lb) and decided to try that trigger instead. I have a trigger finger trained in the 1960's to shoot Olympic Small Bore, and 1970 to shoot Hi Power and 1980's Pistol Shilouette. I honestly could not tell you which trigger is which from the pull my educated finger reports to my brain.
Consistent clean break, like I'm back on the F course shooting 1911's
The reset however is much better on the Duty Trigger - several times while adjusting the Adaptable I had doubles because my natural pull is to follow through and hold, which often gets into bump stock territory with light pull weight.
I love both triggers! But I think for all my semi-auto triggers I'm going to stick with the Duty. In a bolt rifle I may opt for an Adaptable.
Amazing trigger! Easy install ,perfect fit, quality.
Put one in my 7mm, loved it so much I purchased another one for my .257 I’m putting together. Rolled the dice on the flat version and doubt I’ll go back. Seriously changed the game on my hunting rifles.
This is absolutely the best AR Safety I’ve installed to date. The ball tipped detent pin provides smooth operation and a positive detent. The option to setup the safety as a 90 or 45 degree throw with single side or ambidextrous operation is superb. Having the ability to remove and install the safety without removing the grip is a excellent design feature.
