This trigger is hands down the best one for my 16" 6.5 Creedmoor battle/defense rifle. The triggertech engineering department hit a home run with this mix of using a diecast frame to save on cost but using the similar precision internals they use on their higher end triggers. I have a triggertech diamond trigger on my 24" marksman 6.5 Creedmoor so I can compare both. I prefer 2-stage triggers. I like the the firmer 1st stage on this duty trigger and the more tactile feedback on the reset. Everything on the diamond is smaller/softer, but when wearing full finger gloves, this duty trigger is the right choice. For reference, this 'cheaper' duty trigger replaced a RA-535, which in itself is an awesome trigger, more expensive, but this duty trigger is just superior for my application as the RA-535, like the Diamond, offers less tactile feedback to the finger. You can't go wrong with triggertech especially at this price point.
I replaced my mil spec trigger with this any all I can say is wow it's perfect
When I received my Remington M700 “ Special Trigger”…I was delighted…but several days went by waiting for a Tech to answer the phone…or answering my email.
After talking to a Technician…I discovered I needed to cut down my trigger shoe…as it was not meant as a drop-in replacement for my rifle…for my magazine assembly…could not be tightened?
Once back in place…the release lever to remove my bolt…would bind up?
I shot my rifle yesterday…but had to disassemble it to pull the bolt…so I am still working the issue.
A replacement trigger should not be this difficult?
For a $315.00 trigger you'd think these maple syrup chugging moose fuckers would add trigger pins but no. Those are extra.
